Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make a small tabletop dolly? I need something small, light and portable. I will be using my super-8 mm camera mounted to a mini tripod. I need this tripod mounted to the dolly.I need to do smooth tracking shots. Websites containing descriptions on how to build your own dolly system?
Any advice or help would be appreciated.

    Thanks, Michael

Monobath, I've actually tried this already. It works o.k. but does'nt provide a rock steady tracking/dolly shot. My shots had too much side-to-side movement.
    Thanks for the reply.

When you say "mini-tripod", do you mean one of those 12 to 18 inch tripods? What about just mounting castors to a piece of 3/4" plywood that's large enough to provide stable support to your tripod? A hardware store will have several types of plastic or rubber wheel castors. Use three or four, depending on the geometry of your platform.
